Bless God. We cannot serve both God and things of the world. We cannot keep company with those who have not the Lord in their hearts but have evil thoughts, actions, and ways. We must become sanctified and holy unto the Lord.
The blessing of the Lord comes from obedience to him and doing what he expects of you.
In the Old Testament, God required the children of Israel to keep themselves from idols and to stay away from other gods. We as saints and believers of Christ must follow after the same by praying that God sanctifies us through His Spirit and through His Word, and to keep ourselves from the evils of this present world.
Seek peace and comfort from people who you know have a meek and humble spirit and who knows the Lord. Do not allow the seduction of the evil pleasures of this world to draw you in and break your bond with God. Tell Satan to get behind you.
2 Corinthians ch. 6 reads:
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
